Alessa has been imprisoned in Kara City by her husband, Garantar. She doesn’t approve of his actions or activities and is stuck living with them since she was married off to him by her father. She sticks around for her daughters who she is very close to. Her biological daughter is Ares but she is still close with Ameil as well.
Ameil
Played by Kirsten Stewart
Amiel is a pleasant person to talk to. She will be the next queen of the realm unless a brother is born or Garantar, her father, goes through with his plans. She cares for her step-mother, Alessa and her sister, Ares. Ameil is their connection to the outside world as she has more freedom than the other two. She despises her father and is more connected to her step mother. Ares is her best friend. Ameil is being considered to be sent to the Mountain King. She isn’t aware of this yet. Ameil has her mother’s hair.
Ares
Played by Hayley Williams
Ares is a problem child who takes after her father, Garantar. She still loves her mother Alessa very much. She envies her sister, Ameil, but the two still get along very well. Ares could even call her sister her best friend. Ares will eventually be married off to the most suitable bidder as far as she knows. However, her father has bigger plans for her. Ares has her father’s hair.
Played by Emilie De Ravin
Asphodel is the princess of the Mountains. She falls in love with the sorcerer Demetrius and is killed by her father for it. Demetrius resurrects her for a cost on his part and hers. She loses most of her memory and is at square one again. She no longer knows that she once loved him and doesn’t love him like that anymore. It is now nearing the part of the story where they get caught by her father and she gets murdered. Asphodel has a vine tattoo over both of her hands showing the enchantment connecting her and Demetrius. Asphodel is a Tull Elf.
Brianna
Played by Zooey Deschanel
Brianna is a character out of the Inkheart Series
Willful daughter of Dustfinger and Roxane. Paramour of Cosmio the Fair. Worked for Violante (her Ugliness) as a maid until she was cast out for betraying her with her husband. She later worked for Orpheus and returned to help Her Ugliness in the final battle in Inkdeath. Brianna settled down with Darth a minstrel.
Camren
Played by Robert Pattinson
Bastard son to the Mountain King. He is starting to try for the position of heir so he can later become king. However, the Mountain King is unaware of him or his intents. He loves his half sister Asphodel a little more than he should and is still in the market for a girl who takes his mind off of her. Camren is a Tull Elf.
Darius
Stumbletongue
Played by Ian McClellan
Darius is a character out of the Inkheart Series
Capricorn’s reader in Inkheart, he, like Mo and Meggie, possesses the ability to read characters out of stories. But, he damages them if he stutters over the words. He Becomes Elinor’s librarian after Capricorn is Vanquished. He and Elinor enter the Inkworld around the same time and end up settling with Meggie, Mo and Resa in the Inkworld.
Darte
Played by Ashley Simpson
Darte is owner of the Bar and Pub in Kara City. She is sister to Cora who owns a restaurant in Kara City. The two are very close and are very loving. Darte falls in love with Alex Folchart…as he slowly falls for her. Darte is only 15 years old.
Darth
Played by Brad Pitt
Darth fell for Brianna the second he saw her. He is a former Minstral and is amazing when it comes to music. Darth has a very colourful personality and is always very cheerful. He will do anything for Brianna.
Hellspawn, Demon’s Breath, Dem, God’s Gift
Played by Ben Barnes
The main character in Meggie’s story, Timeless Ink. Demetrius is a Sorcerer modelled after Dustfinger. Demetrius was read into this story by Laura as he became the star of the novel later. Demetrius falls in love with Asphodel as he was employed by the Mountain King. The two will be caught shortly and the King kills Asphodel. Demetrius flees with her body and uses the bulk of his power to bring her back to life. He pays the price with his power—now only able to do common magicians tricks. He discovers that Asphodel has lost her memory and he becomes connected to her. When Asphodel feels alarm he uncontrollably turns into a large Gryphon that is a Gargoyle and Mountain lion cross. He can not control his new form whatsoever. Demetrius ends up with a vine marking tattoo on his left hand and over his heart which is part of the enchantment connecting him and Asphodel. He still loves her even if she doesn’t know she once loved him back.
Doria
Played by Jared Padalecki
Doria is a character out of the Inkheart Series
One of the youngest members of the robbers’ camp. A good spy. Half brother of Lazaro, the Strong Man. Friend of Luc. A fledgeling inventor in spite of two stiff fingers on his left hand. Fenoglio is under the belief that Doria is from one of his very early, unpublished works. Doria is in love with Meggie and settled down with her.
Dustfinger
Fire Dancer

Dustfinger is a character out of the Inkheart Series
Scar-faced fire eater who has wandered between the two worlds. First husband of Roxane, Father of Brianna. Lived ten years in the real world after Mo accidentally read him out of the pages of Inkheart. At the end of the first book, he steals the last remaining copy of Inkheart from Mo. Sacrifices his life for his apprentice Farid’s in Inkspell. Rarely without his tame marten, Gwin. Dustfinger helped to bring down the Adderhead in his story and settled down with his family around the same time Mo settled with his.
Cora
Played by Kelly Clarkson
Cora is the owner of Cora’s Spot—a restaurant. She is Darte’s older sister. The two are very close. Cora despises Untitled One and constantly voices this to her little sister and to Untitled One.
Elinor Loredan
Played by Helen Mirran
Elinor is a character out of the Inkheart Series
Resa’s aunt. Alex, Madeline and Meggie’s great-aunt. An avid book collector. She once preferred he books to the company of others, but she came to welcome Meggie, Mo, Resa and Darius into her home. Opinionated, tart-tongued, and prone to speaking her mind! Once in the Inkworld, she prompts Fenoglio to reclaim control of his own story. Her and Darius settled down together in the last ten years. Farid

Farid is a character out of the Inkheart Series
A boy read out of Tales of the Arabian Nights by Mo. Nimble and quick witted, he has a talent for petty theft, which he developed in his original story. Often barefoot! Devoted to Dustfinger; determined at first, in Inkspell, to learn the Fire-Dancer’s craft of fire-eating, and later, in Inkdeath, to bring him back from the dead. Also, in imitation of Dustfinger, he has his own marten Jink
Fenoglio

Fenoglio is a character out of the Inkheart Series
Inventor of the Inkworld, author of the book Inkheart, from which Dustfinger came. Also known, by Jacopo, as Tortoise-Face. Disappears into his own story when Meggie reads the Shadow out of the Inkworld to defeat Capricorn. After the tragic turn of events in Inkspell, stops writing the story and lets it take its own course. In Inkdeath, Resa, Elinor and others encourage him to try to set it right again. Fenoglio stays in the Inkworld with the rest of the gang.
Garantar
Midnight King
Played by Jon Voight
Evil Tyrant over most of the lands in Timeless Ink. He only cares for his wife and children. He has two daughters; Amiel and Ares. Both are from different mothers since his first wife died and he later married Alessa. Garantar taxes his people in poverty and misery without a care in the world. He is currently arranging for Ameil to marry the Mountain King so his more devious daughter may get the throne when he dies. He has yet to tell his wife or either of his daughters about this possibility.
Harry
Played by Leonardo DeCaprio
Harry is the owner of a diner in the Garth Mountains. He is best friends with Tarn, the blacksmith. The two spend a lot of time comparing business ideas. They support the rebellion.
Jehan
Played by Edmund Bagnell
Jehan is a character out of the Inkheart Series
Roxane’s son by her second husband who is now dead. Jehan has grown quite a bit but is just starting to take an interest in girls. He ends up falling for Unnamed One.
Laura
Devious Witch

Born in “Timeless Ink” to be a bookworm, Bookbinder, Author and a Silvertongue modelled after a mix of Meggie and Mo. Laura came to the Inkworld on her own through her own writing. She wrote to find other silvertongues not knowing where to find them or anything about the Inkworld. She deviously wrote and read Meggie and the crew into her novel “Timeless Ink”. Laura was a sub character in Meggie’s story. Her purpose was to read Demetrius out of a book titled “One Last Nightmare”. Laura is a Tull Elf.
Meggie Folchart

Meggie is a character out of the Inkheart Series
Daughter of Mo and Resa. Like her father, has the magical ability to bring characters out of books by reading aloud. After meeting Fenoglio, the author of Inkheart, she also dreams of being able to write as well as she can read—so that she can not only bring characters in and out of books but also script their fates. Fair-haired. Infatuated with Farid at the start of Inkdeath but settles down with Doria. Silvertongue, Mo, Bluejay, Jay

Mo is a character out of the Inkheart Series
Bookbinder or book “doctor”. Resa’s husband, Alex, Madeline and Meggie’s father. Also called Silvertongue because of his ability to make characters come alive by reading them out of books—to “paint pictures in the air with his voice”—although he has been wary of his gift ever since experiencing its awful consequences in Inkheart, when he reads Dustfinger, Capricorn, and Basta into our world and nearly loses his wife, Resa, forever to the Inkworld in exchange. In Inkdeath, Mo assumes the part of the Bluejay, a valiant yet murderous thief character created by Fenoglio, and he soon finds it difficult to distinguish between his true self and his alias. He shares the fictional Bluejay’s scar on his left arm, and was wounded near his heart my Mortola. Mo sacrifices himself for the chance to bring Dustfinger back to life—causing a greater connection between the two of them. Mo goes through a lot to help bring down the Adderhead. Mo now has a second daughter along with his son. He later settles with his family in the Inkworld and is sent to Timeless Ink by Laura.
Murphy Darwin

Father of Asphodel and the one who murders her. He attempts to kill Demetrius but Demetrius manages to escape, taking Asphodel’s body with him. Murphy has set out wanted posters and placed quite a bit of money on Demetrius’ head. He is allied with Garantar and is a greedy and self-centered man. However, he is a good leader and his people don’t mind his being in power. They are all in a prosperity because of him. He is currently considering Ameil for his bride. Murphy is a Tull Elf. Resa (Theresa) Folchart

Resa is a character out of the Inkheart Series
Mo’s Wife, Alex, Madeline and Meggie’s mother and Elinor’s neice. She spent many years mute and enslaved by the evil Mortola after Mo unknowingly read her into Inkheart. Resa returns to the Inkworld in search of Meggie in Inkspell. By Inkdeath, she and Mo were expecting a second child, and she wished to return to our world, even though the rest of the family did not. By following the dangerous craft she learned as the Magpie’s servant she, too, shape-shifts into a bird—A swift—in the effort to save Mo and Dustfinger at the Castle in the Lake. Roxane

Roxane is a character out of the Inkheart Series
Dustfinger’s wife and a great beauty with raven hair and alabaster skin. Mother of Brianna, Rosanna and Jehan. Once a minstrel woman, she is now a healer and a herbalist. Her and Dustfinger settled down around the same time as Mo and Resa.
Tarn
Played by Keith Urban
Tarn is the owner of a metal shop in the Garth Mountains. He sells a mix of jewellery and weapons. He is a great smith and is best friends with Harry who owns a diner. The two spend plenty of time comparing ideas. They support the rebellion. Tarn is a Tull Elf.
Madeline Folchart
Played by Elle Fanning
