Tattoos and Piercings: Her ears are pierced twice and she has no tattoos; thinking about it though. She has a few little scars from hurting herself as a kid but that’s about it.
Clothing Style: Ryss will wear whatever she can gets her hands on. She isn’t very picky about her clothes though she has some distinct preferences. Carys wears a lot of boys clothes and ones that might not fit her properly. Fancy wear like satins and silks are never seen on her. Dresses are very rare; she only owns one.

Boy’s clothes are very common for her. Especially boy’s clothes stolen from her father. A lot of her style is borrowed from him so it’s not uncommon to see them wearing similar things. She wears a lot of loose tunics with flared sleeves or sleeveless shirts that are tighter. She has a vest made of dragon scales that she wears under all of her shirts as a sort of armor and arm guards made of thinner scales; midnight blue ones. A lot of her shirts are ragged and dirty.

When it comes to shoes she sticks to leather boots like her father does. It’s easier that way and they last longer. She wears a lot of riding pants and chaps as well and sticks to colors that match her dragon. So gold, beige and dark blue are very common colors for her. One thing Ryss is never seen without is a dark blue scarf that shimmers purple. It is a rather plain scarf that, in modern day, would be considered Arab styled.
Appearance: Ryss has a very distinct diamond shape to her face with a round chin and a sharp jaw. Her brows are very thin naturally and have a sharp angle that gives her a mischievous expression. Her eyes are round and diamond shaped as well with two different colored eyes. Her left is a bright emerald green while her right is a deep purple. Her lashes are dark and short with a slight curl that is rather average. The bridge of Ryss’ nose is thin and hour glassed shaped. It curls upward with a flat but round tip. Her mouth is a bit too long for her face and her lips a bit too thin. She has a recognizable arch to her upper lip with a light purse to the bottom.

Carys’ hair is easily recognized as hers; not many people in the Timeless world can match it. Ryss’ hair is naturally blonde but she has managed to get it dyed brown in the under parts. It is drastically layered and parted to the right side of her head so sections hang in her eyes. Her bangs start at her brows and quickly fall to the length of her chin then back up to get shorter just past her ears. That’s where the layering starts to that it spikes outwards. The brown sections are longer and fall to her mid back. They are also layered. Ryss’ hair is often spiked out but because of the wind. It’s often messy and unkempt so she clips pieces back

Ryss has a slight but athletic build. Her shoulders are slender but her arms, long in proportions, are well muscled. You can see the muscle that constant climbing and training has given her. Her hands are dainty but well worked for a girl of her age. Ryss’ bust is rather average, just a b, and her hips are smaller. She has a tiny waist with very little curve to it but her legs are long. Just like her arms they have defined muscle to them though you don’t see that often. She has an average but awkward build with fair, creamy skin.
Voice: Like her father’s Ryss’ voice is soft but expressive. She has kind sounds but a naturally loud tone. It isn’t very demanding but it can be. It is a bit on the high side with a slight nasal sound to it. She isn’t a terrible singer but she isn’t very good either. She has a very thick accent though, one she picked up from the various people she talks to. It is comparable to that of a French accent.

Personality: Ryss’ personality seems to go all over the place. She is usually a very happy girl, loving to have fun and hang with her friends. She is a fun person to be around, always having something amusing to say and some sort of weird thing to do. She loves to just have fun, especially on stage and outside.

Ryss loves standing out and being different, which not only shows in her appearance but in her personality as well. She is talkative and sarcastic, often poking gun at her friends. As well she loves being active, often rough housing with friends willing to do so back. She can get a bit too rough at times, often getting hurt or accidentally hurting others. She has a high pain tolerance though, so she never minds getting hurt. Carys often doesn’t even notice she is hurt or barely cares. Friends are usually the ones who point it out, since she has little care for her own safety.

Ryss is a very curious girl and when she has a question she asks it, whether it is appropriate at the time or not. She always expects an honest answer and hates it when people lie to her. She is one to always tell the truth, honesty being something very important to her. You can trust Ryss to give her honest opinion about anything, which is good but at times bad. She often doesn’t realize when a little white lie should be used. She also doesn’t pay attention to how appropriate her curious questions are.

She is open, willing to try anything once. She loves trying new things and will like just about anything. She isn’t picky with what she likes and doesn’t like; same with whom she can get along with. She is a very easy person to become friends with and will remain loyal to her friends. She would put her life on the line for them and is sure they would do the same for her. She loves helping people out.

It doesn’t take long for one to figure out that Ryss has a weird way of thinking. She thinks of things not many people would, and often asks questions about them. She loves to learn new things, whether it’s through books or doing it herself. She loves to read but isn’t good at anything Math related. Her need for knowing things can often get her in trouble, but she likes doing that.

Angell is an active and energetic dragon. He is all over the place in her personality but he is a great companion for Ryss. He is a dark blue and black Asian Lung with Gold accents.

Lorreciél is a copper and purple Asian Lung with pink accents that belonged to Ryss’ grandfather. She is very intelligent and has a knack for remembering things. She is very protective of both Ryss and Koell. She doesn’t like Ryss’ dragon for stealing Ryss away but has come to terms with it. Lorreciél is a bit moody and considers Koell and Ryss hers…not the other way around.
Talents / Abilities: Climbing, pick pocketing, talking and close hand combat. Ryss also ahs the Ability of omnilingiusm and can understand and speak any language she hears.
History: Carys’ birth hadn’t been the happiest event in the world. Her father was thirteen and already a rather successful Drake and her mother was nothing more than a common whore. Amethyst, Koell’s first whore, had become pregnant with, presumably, his daughter. The tiny baby girl no more than a few days old was “forced” into Koell’s care.

At first her being there was a burden, Koell had been instructed to care for baby Carys and a lot of changes had to be made to accommodate her. As an infant Ryss developed rather quickly. She learned to walk before she was even one year old and was talking in sentences by two. She was curious, cheerful and eager to learn. But Ryss was a bit reckless. Despite constant warnings she would do whatever she pleased, especially when Koell was involved.

Ryss’ first few years were surrounded by people. She picked up on all the languages she heard, raising suspicion about her ability, and loved human contact. But one thing she loved oven more was Koell and Lorreciél. The dragon was like a mother to Ryss and her father was something she couldn’t go more than a day without.

She went every where with her father. One was never seen without the other roaming around somewhere. The energetic and intelligent child was always challenging what she was taught but begged for more lessons. Her father and Lorreciél trained her the way Koell had been. From sword play to predicting weather she wanted to learn it all.

At four years old Ryss found an egg, something that rarely ever happened. Their first reaction to finding the egg on Drar Island was to wait for the mother but nothing came. So they took it, Ryss having every intent on hatching it to be her own dragon. The thought of not having this egg never crossed her mind. But she had to wait for the counsel’s say and Ryss wasn’t very patient during those moments. It was granted to her and the egg was Ryss’ to care for.

It took three years before the egg hatched. She was seven was now the “owner” of a male, dark blue and black Asian Lung Dragon with gold accents. He was small at first but grew very quickly. Lorreciél helped raise the hatchling with ease despite the struggle Ryss and Koell went through with the feisty fellow. Carys named him Angellica unaware of the dragon’s gender. Lorreciél kept her moth shut but when the dragon learned to talk the correction to “Angell” was made.

The unruly and wild dragon seemed to be the perfect match for the independent girl. She managed to tame him to an extent and was eager to be able to fly on him. She loved being able to fly beside Lorreciél and her father when Angell grew to be big enough. She never left her father’s side unless she absolutely had to and would do every mission with him. They still do that now though Ryss has come to terms with doing missions without her father. Angell is still a bit wild and out going but Ryss loves him.
